Freeride Paradise with the longest descent in North America
The Revelstoke Mountain Resort is located on Mt. Mc Kenzie, around 6 kilometers outside the town of Revelstoke. The Revelstoke Mountains is a mountain for good skiers. Only a few slopes are classified as easy and intermediate. The dry powder snow in the snow hole usually ensures top conditions on the cool off-piste runs. Revelstoke also has the longest downhill run in North America. "The Last Spike is no less than 15 kilometers long," reports Max Schmidt from the TRAVELZONE team. Revelstoke is also perfect for warming up for heli-skiing adventures. There are a number of heliski lodges and cat skiing providers around the town in BC.
