Snowbird is located right next to Alta, with which it is connected at the summit. About 40 km southeast of Salt Lake City, Snowbird is also known for its legendary powder snow, challenging runs and breathtaking mountain scenery. The ski area covers an area of around 1,012 hectares and offers a varied topography with steep slopes, deep gullies and wide open runs. Snowbird offers a wide range of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The ski area has more than 85 marked runs, ranging from gentle beginner slopes to challenging steep slopes.
