What a mix! Experience the rugged wilderness of Patagonia paired with the luxurious comfort of the Rio Palena Lodge. Designed for a maximum of 14 guests, the lodge is one of the most beautiful starting points for unforgettable heliskiing adventures in the Chilean Andes.
Gentle glaciers, steep couloirs and long descents - Patagonia's mountain ranges around the Rio Palena Lodge will inspire you. The scenery is overwhelming - while skiing and enjoying outdoor lunches in wild river landscapes or on breathtaking glaciers. A typical day of skiing consists of 6-10 runs. Other activities include river rafting on the world-famous class IV-V Futalefu, stand-up paddleboarding on the Palena River, fly fishing as well as hikes to picturesque waterfalls, bike tours and visits to hot springs.

As beautiful as the surroundings and the activities in the wild nature of Patagonia are, everyone likes to return to the cozy lodge in the evening. The completely renovated house offers ultimate comfort. The lodge is equipped with two wood-fired whirlpools and a wood-fired sauna.
The seven suites, each with its own bathroom, are furnished with king or queen beds. The suites are spacious and very cozy. The common rooms offer even more space. The lounge with bar and the dining area with the sun terrace in front all face the river.
Delicious Chilean specialties and international dishes are served.
The heliski season is from the end of September to mid-November and the lodge can only be booked in its entirety.
The summer season starts at the beginning of December and lasts until the end of March. Individual rooms can also be booked during this time.
