We fly to Kulusuk, from where we take a boat to the small town of Kummiut in around three hours. There we stay in a simple guest house for six nights. There are great ski tour options around Kummiut. You will also get to know the way of life of the locals in Greenland.
For our ski tours, we will also use dog sleds and local boats in the Kuumiut area to reach different terrain every day. Thanks to the many terrain options and circular tours, we have many possibilities. On day 7 we spend the last night in Kulusuk. On the morning of day 8, we visit the local Greenland Museum, take a walk to a viewpoint and finally drive to Kulusuk airport, from where we fly out.
Normally, spring brings higher air pressure and stable weather. But everything from calm, sunny days to blizzards are possible in the far north.
The skiing conditions are usually very good. If we're not skiing powder snow, we're looking for firn snow. The terrain in this area is very varied, so it often offers protection from the wind. From gentle glacier descents to steep slopes, everything is on offer.

We will spend six nights in a guest house in Kummiut. The guest house is simple, but warm and comfortable. There is running water and a hot shower as well as electricity for charging electrical appliances. There are 3 bedrooms with single beds. A large living room with dining table and couches. There is a fully equipped kitchen where the guides prepare meals. All bedrooms and the living area face west and offer incredible views of the fjord surrounded by high glacier mountains.
The guesthouse is centrally located with easy access to skiing and the harbor as well as the grocery store.
Our last night will be spent in Kulusuk, the village near the airport. There we will also stay in a simple guesthouse.
