There are also some world-class golf courses. This region is therefore a golfer's dream! Add to this a Big Five safari in the famous Eastern Cape Game Reserve and this trip will be truly unbeatable and unforgettable.
Garden Route
White sandy beaches and tropical forests, deep gorges and huge lagoons: the Garden Route is a unique natural paradise full of contrasts. The famous route with its spectacular and varied landscapes stretches from the village of Mossel Bay over 220 kilometers eastwards to the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma Mountains.
The Garden Route is worth a trip at any time of year. It can be perfectly combined with a stay in Cape Town, the wine region and a safari in one of the malaria-free reserves nearby.
Some of the country's most spectacular golf courses are also undoubtedly to be found in this area. The famous courses of the Fancourt Golf Resort are among the best maintained in Africa. Pinnacle Point, certainly one of the most spectacular courses in South Africa, is in no way inferior to the famous Pebble Beach. Other golfing highlights include the courses at Goose Valley, Mossel Bay, Oubaai Golf, Pezula, Plettenberg Bay Country Club and St. Francis Links. There is a huge abundance of impressive courses along the coast and inland. For a stress-free golf vacation, we also recommend booking tee times early for this region.

| Day 1 | Arrival in Cape Town, pick up the rental car and drive to the booked hotel. |
| 2nd to 4th day | You will stay at the well-known Table Bay Hotel directly on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The hotel effortlessly combines Victorian elegance with modern luxury. Each of the 329 luxurious rooms and suites offers a view of Robben Island or Table Mountain. During your stay in Cape Town, enjoy a round of golf at the attractive Westlake Golf Club and Royal Cape Golf Club. Go on wonderful excursions around Cape Town. The coastal road from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope is also worthwhile. It is one of the most beautiful routes in the world. Table Mountain is also a must-see. | Day 4 to 6 | After a short drive to the Stellenbosch wine region, you check into your room at the Lanzerac Hotel & Spa. The Lanzerac wine estate, which can look back on 327 years of history, is located in the foothills of the idyllic Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. Just five minutes from the historic town of Stellenbosch, the winery offers the finest hospitality with views of dramatic mountain ranges and lush vineyards. On the program are the exciting golf courses Erinvale Golf Estate and Pearl Valley Golf. The wine regions around Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl are home to a large number of wine estates, which also offer cellar tours and where you can of course taste the wines. |
| Day 7 | A varied drive to George. You will spend the next three nights at the famous Fancourt Hotel in the heart of the Garden Route and close to the charming town of George. |
| Day 8 to 9 | The resort is known for its excellent golf facilities and is one of the best golf addresses in South Africa. The golf resort has two outstanding 18-hole courses, Montagu and Outeniqua, designed by Gary Player. During your stay you can enjoy the excellent Montagu and Outeniqua golf courses . The hotel's excellent facilities include three restaurants, a swimming pool, fitness center, indoor pool, spa with sauna, steam room, Roman bath and an extensive range of massages and treatments. Explore the Garden Route by rental car, visit an ostrich farm or simply enjoy the resort's wide range of activities.

| Day 10 to 12 | Your journey takes you further east along the Garden Route. Your next destination is the hotel The Sands @ St. Francis Bay. This small, luxurious African beach house is located in the picturesque coastal village of St. Francis Bay. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer breathtaking views of the beach. The St. Francis Links Golf Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and is one of the best golf courses in the country. |
| Day 12 to 13 | Safari experience, on a game drive you will experience the "Big Five" (lion, buffalo, elephant, rhino and leopard), herds of various wild animals such as zebras, giraffes, antelopes and unique landscapes. To round off your trip, you will stay at Shamwari Sindile Lodge for 2 nights. The luxurious tented camp is located in the middle of the African steppe. |
