Meloneras is located near the popular resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés on the south coast of Gran Canaria. The town is famous for the Faro de Maspalomas. The lighthouse from the 1890s, which is still in operation today, is a hotspot for fantastic sunsets. In Meloneras and Maspalomas there are shopping centers and countless nice restaurants, cafés and bars on the promenade. Just a few meters from the promenade is the long sandy beach, which is bordered by the Maspalomas Dunes nature reserve. The area is made up of three ecosystems: the palm grove, the lagoon and the dunes. Golfers will find a very attractive and exciting 18-hole course with well-maintained greens and fairways, good training opportunities and wonderful views in this dreamlike coastal landscape. The Maspalomas, Salobre and Anfi Tauro courses are just a few minutes' drive away.

The Lopesan Baobab Resort enchants with its unique architecture with African style elements and its large water landscape with pools, rivers and waterfalls. The resort is set in large gardens directly in the attractive resort of Meloneras. The promenade and the beach are just a short walk away.
The resort has a total of nine pools and two artificial beaches. It offers a varied leisure program for young and old. The excellent infrastructure also includes a varied culinary offering with two buffet restaurants, three bars, two pool bars and two à la carte restaurants. A fitness room and a wide-ranging wellness program round off the offer.
The 677 rooms (42m2) and suites are elegant, modern and comfortably furnished. An elegant color scheme creates an African ambience. They have a bathroom with separate shower, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee) and balconies or terraces with different orientations. The Standard double rooms offer a view of the street, while the Standard View double rooms offer a beautiful view of the lush gardens and pool.
