Heliskiing for beginners and experts against a stunning mountain backdrop: CMH Gothics is pure fun for skiers and snowboarders. As you have access to the Selkirks and Monashees from the drive-in lodge, you can expect masses of snow and fantastic powder skiing between glaciers and trees. Along with CMH Galena and the Cariboos, the Monashees offer some of the best tree skiing in Canada. Read more.
At CMH Gothics, you will be traveling in three groups of up to eleven people (depending on weight), which is particularly beneficial for sporty skiers. For descents with 2,000 vertical meters and more, you should always have a certain level of fitness. You can go even faster in private groups. A small helicopter flies four guests and two guides into the extensive area.
But even if you're new to heliskiing, you'll get your money's worth here, with numerous slopes suitable for relaxed deep-snow cruising. And if you want to experience the powder adventure together with your family, the family trips at Christmas time are a great opportunity.

Check in at the Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal as soon as you land in Calgary - you don't even have to leave the building. CMH staff will greet you at the reception desk. After a good night's sleep, you will take the shuttle bus at 7:15 in the morning. Thanks to the time difference, getting up early is usually not a problem.
From Calgary, it will take you a good seven and a half hours by bus to the CMH Monashees Lodge in Mica Creek. By then, the magnificent panorama of Banff National Park - at least after sunrise - will have sweetened your journey. You will make a short stopover in Revelstoke. If you prefer to arrive by rental car, that's no problem either.
On arrival, you first check into your room and then complete the obligatory safety training. The next morning, you'll be on skis or a board for the first time.
On the day of departure, you will powder again in the morning and return to Calgary in the afternoon. You arrive at the airport at around 8:15 pm. We recommend staying overnight in the Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal and booking your return flight for the following day.
