In the north-east of the country, the East Pontic Mountains beckon with magnificent descents above the tree line, with peaks just below 4,000 meters, with plenty of snow and with views as far as the Black Sea. The helicopters are from Wucher Helikopter in Austria. The pilots and guides from Turkey Heliskiing know countless landing points in their 4,500 square kilometer area. They often drop the groups off a little further apart so that there is even more space for powder skiing. So you can really let off steam in the dozens of high valleys around Kaçkar Dağı. At 3,937 meters, it is the highest mountain in the East Pontic Mountains. Good and very good skiers will especially love the steep and narrow gullies, which are reminiscent of the couloirs in Alaska. The first runs are only five minutes away from the hotel.
The journey is quick and easy via Istanbul and Trabzon. A family-run hotel, extremely helpful staff and warm hospitality await you in Ayder. And a real freeride adventure. The base for your heliskiing trip is the three-star Hotel Ayder Haşimoğlu. After skiing, you can meet up at the bar or in the lounge with fireplace, alternatively you can treat yourself to a soothing massage or visit the fitness room. The delicious buffet with international dishes is served in the communal dining room. There are hot springs just a few minutes away from the hotel. With a water temperature of around 40 degrees Celsius, it is a wonderful place to relax: an absolute must.

With the Classic package, you will land in Trabzon on Saturday evening and spend the first night at the Ayder Haşimoğlu Hotel. At the end of the heliski week, the bus will take you back to Trabzon in the afternoon - and after a few runs on the day of departure - where you will check into the Novotel. This overnight stay is also part of the package. The next morning, the hotel shuttle will take you to the airport.
For guests who book the private package, the transfer from Trabzon to the hotel is organized depending on the arrival time. This package also includes one night at the Novotel on the return journey.
Important: There are two airports in Istanbul, a good two hours' drive apart. Make sure that you book your onward flight to Trabzon or home from the same airport! Or even better: talk to us. We will be happy to book the flights for you.
