You’ll enjoy our 8-day ski touring trip through the rugged mountains and glaciers of West Greenland aboard our comfortable ship, the M/V Mischief. The area offers a vast variety of ski destinations and terrain, making every day unique, with unforgettable descents and views each and every day. After each ski tour, we return to the ship.
West Greenland offers terrain for every preference and skill level—and plenty of it! Highlights include runs from the summit down to the sea, and toward the end of the season, you can even ski under the midnight sun.
Whether you’re looking for the adrenaline rush of steep couloirs and challenging summits, the endurance test of long ascents, or the leisurely pace of gentle glacier skiing—there’s something for everyone. The varied terrain ensures that skiers of all levels can find their perfect adventure.
The weather in West Greenland is relatively mild. Temperatures range from -5 to +5 degrees Celsius. In the spring, high pressure typically moves in, leading to sunny skies and light winds, but there can still be days with precipitation.
Ski touring is the main activity on board, but there are also many other activities you can enjoy during the trip. There are several sea kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard. We have a small fleet of dry suits for those who want to kayak on the calm fjord, surrounded by high peaks, or go stand-up paddleboarding on Toru.
For anyone who enjoys fishing, there is fishing gear on board, and the crew is happy to help you reel in an Arctic cod. Fish are plentiful. Often, a single fishing trip is enough to provide fresh fish for everyone on the ship.

Our home during the expedition, the M/V Mischief, is a sturdy Arctic vessel, perfectly suited for the wild fjords and glacier-lined coastline of West Greenland. Built specifically for northern waters, it combines expedition capabilities with a warm, inviting atmosphere, offering you a comfortable base from which to explore some of the world’s most remote ski destinations.
At 32 meters long, the Mischief offers you a personalized expedition experience. This allows you to reach remote anchorages, sheltered fjords, and pristine ski destinations that are virtually inaccessible via conventional travel. Between ski tours, you can relax in the ship’s communal areas, share stories of the day’s adventures, and enjoy unobstructed views of Greenland’s dramatic mountains, icebergs, and wild coastal landscape.
The Mischief is far more than just a mode of transportation: it becomes your floating mountain hut.
