Silver Coast - Rugged coasts and fantastic golf courses
Best known as a golf destination, Portugal offers many attractive courses for golfers. Most golfers are familiar with the Algarve as a golf destination. But the lesser-known regions of Estoril Coast and Silver Coast near Lisbon are at least as interesting. Our golf week "Praia D'El Rey" takes us to the Silver Coast region north of Portugal's capital, which is still less well-known to most golfers. The Oeste region ("Silver Coast") stretches along the Atlantic coast in the middle of a rural area bordered by the Serra de Montejunto. Due to its mild climate, this area is becoming increasingly important for tourism. The Silver Coast offers several attractive golf courses, including Praia D'El Rey, Royal Óbidos, Bom Sucesso and the top course West Cliffs. All are in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. And at our travel time, Lisbon and the Silver Coast usually have perfect golfing weather.

The 5-star hotel of the well-known Marriott chain is located on the west coast of Portugal and is only a 50-minute drive from the lively capital Lisbon. The beautiful 18-hole championship course is located right next to the hotel. The hotel offers shuttle transfers to the other golf courses.
The hotel comprises a total of 177 rooms and suites. The almost 40 square meter Garden/Golf View Rooms at the Praia D'El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort have a private terrace or balcony as well as a desk and sofa.
The hotel has two restaurants, Tempera (buffet restaurant) and Emprata (Mediterranean cuisine). The Club House is also a great place to dine and enjoy the view of the golf course. There is also a large lounge bar right next to reception. In the past, this has become a great meeting place, whether before dinner for an aperitif or afterwards for partying - open end!
In the Kalyan Spa, you can review the past round of golf and relax wonderfully. But if you still haven't had enough action, you can let off steam in the spacious fitness room. This is also what the numerous professional footballers do, whose teams regularly complete their winter preparations here.

As the highlight and culmination of our eventful golf trip, we will play a Stableford tournament on the last day of golf. The tournament has no handicap and participation is free of charge. In principle, you can decide on the spot whether you want to play in the tournament. But a little sporting challenge towards the end of the trip is simply great fun and underlines the sporting aspect of this wonderful trip. In the past, most guests have therefore - unsurprisingly - not missed out on this pleasure. In addition to fame and honor for the winners, there are also small souvenir prizes. These are presented to the winners at our Farewell Dinner on the last evening as part of the award ceremony.
Direct flights to Lisbon are offered several times a day from most major airports in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. We are happy to book the flights according to daily updated prices.
Minimum number of participants: 8 persons. If the minimum number of participants is not reached by the registration deadline, we will actively inform you about the implementation of the trip.
