For example, a trip to Pico is worthwhile. At 2,351 meters, the mountain of the same name is the highest in Portugal, and Pico is also a hotspot for whale watching. The 10 treatment rooms in the wellness area are an ideal complement, especially after a challenging round of golf. The wellness area also includes a small fitness studio.
The rooms are modernly furnished and have the usual amenities such as WLAN, satellite TV and minibar. The hotel's restaurant, under the direction of chef Henrique Mouro, serves the best the island has to offer, prepared in a wood-fired oven, Josper grill or cauldron.
