Golf course information
Nowhere else in the Canary Islands will you find another golf course with 36 holes. Half of them are on the Old Course, which Roland Fauré has integrated into a landscape typical of the island. The sometimes very hilly course lies between ravines, mountains and the sea, with flora ranging from lush gardens to desert-like vegetation. The course is designed with water hazards and offers a variety of challenges for players of all levels. In 2008, eight years after the opening of the Old Course, the Salobre Golf & Resort was extended to include the 18 holes of the New Course. The very hilly course has a flair reminiscent of the famous courses in Arizona. Players sometimes play over hills, sometimes through valleys - but always through a landscape that is hard to get enough of. Water hazards require precise play.
