Southern Mauritius: A Beach Paradise for Golfers and Active Travelers
The southern part of the island of Mauritius is popular not only for its picturesque beaches but also for its countless opportunities for active travelers. How about, for example, a hike through Black River Gorge National Park or a climb up the historic Le Morne Brabant peak? The panoramic view from the top of this iconic mountain is breathtaking. Chamarel, with its famous waterfall set against a tropical jungle backdrop and the “seven-colored earth,” is also definitely worth a visit. For animal lovers, we recommend a boat trip in Black River—either as part of a group tour or as an exclusive private tour. There, you’ll have the chance to see dolphins in their natural habitat and even swim with them in the open ocean.

Christoph is a fully qualified PGA golf professional, an A-license coach with the German Olympic Sports Confederation, and a German Master Golf Instructor. As a former tour player for the German Golf Team, he combines the highest qualifications and qualities of a teaching professional with those of a playing professional. This 5-star hotel in the Bel Ombre region is located directly on a picturesque sandy beach and is only about an hour from the airport. The hotel also offers the option of a helicopter transfer. This exquisite hotel features a total of 154 deluxe suites, including 91 with views of the lush garden, 48 with breathtaking ocean views, and 15 located directly on the beachfront. For even greater exclusivity, there are 5 Senior Suites with ocean views, 2 with direct beach access, and 3 with private balconies.
