Group Golf Trip: Sylt—Germany’s Most Beautiful Golf Island
Sylt at its finest! Join our group tour led by tour guide Wolfgang Burkhardt and discover why Sylt is always worth a visit, even for golfers. Germany’s most famous island beckons with magnificent golf courses such as Budersand, the Marine Golf Club, and the Golf-Club Sylt—and much more: the Sylt lifestyle, gourmet restaurants, iconic spots, and stunning dunes and sandy beaches. We’ll be staying at a family-run hotel in Westerland, near the beach, during the perfect time of year—early summer—when Sylt is at its most beautiful. With Schleswig-Holstein expert Wolfgang, you’ll immerse yourself in authentic island life in the far north of Germany. Direct flights are available on the day of arrival from Zurich, Munich, and Stuttgart.
Sylt: North Sea Delights and Golf at Its Finest
The largest North Frisian island is not only known for its kilometers-long beaches and sophisticated atmosphere, but also as a true paradise for golfers. Germany’s most famous island offers four diverse 18-hole golf courses nestled among dunes, heathland, and the sea, often with spectacular views of the Wadden Sea or the North Sea. Away from the fairways and greens, the island entices visitors with cozy seafood restaurants, fine gourmet dining, iconic bars, and top-notch hotels. Westerland is the island’s largest town, and for many, it is also its heart. A charming seaside resort atmosphere, elegant boutiques, and a diverse range of recreational activities make Westerland so appealing. The beach promenade invites you to take a leisurely stroll after a round of golf. Kampen lies north of Westerland. The town is known for its exclusive flair and stylish luxury homes. The famous Rote Kliff and the Uwe Dune—the island’s highest point—offer spectacular views of the North Sea. Kampen borders the Sylt Golf Club, which stretches between Kampen and Wenningstedt.

As the highlight and grand finale of our exciting golf trip, we’ll play a Stableford tournament on the last day of golf. The tournament does not count toward your handicap, and participation is free. You’re free to decide on the spot whether you’d like to join the tournament. But a little friendly competition toward the end of the trip is simply a lot of fun and highlights the sporting aspect of this wonderful trip. In the past, therefore—unsurprisingly—most guests have not wanted to miss out on this pleasure. In addition to fame and glory for the winners, there are also small commemorative prizes at stake. These will be presented to the winners during the awards ceremony at our farewell dinner on the final evening.
