Small Group Heliskiing

Heliskiing is the most exclusive form of freeriding and small group heliskiing is the most exclusive form of heliskiing. But what are the advantages of small groups when heliskiing?

Small groups are more flexible on the mountain as they can get in and out more quickly. In general, transportation from one landing site to the next is accelerated to such an extent that small groups often cover a higher number of vertical meters per day.

The helicopters are also usually smaller in small group heliskiing and can land in places where larger machines have problems. In addition, the guide can take even better and more individual care of the individual group members and give helpful technical tips for certain terrain or snow conditions.

Small groups have advantages on the descent - especially in challenging, narrower terrain. If everyone wants to ski their own line without crossing other tracks, it is always an advantage if there are only half as many or even fewer skiers and snowboarders together than in large groups. After all, that's what heliskiing is all about: having untouched slopes, fresh powder and a huge freeride playground all to yourself.

The atmosphere is also perhaps even more private with small group heliskiing, as you sometimes only get into the helicopter with your own friends or family. You can book a private package with four people. This makes for an unforgettable experience with your closest friends.

And if one or two people are still missing, talk to us. We are sure to have the ideal passengers for your group. We have been going heliskiing regularly for more than 30 years and have traveled together with many of our customers. We know exactly how and what someone wants to ski and what makes them tick. After all, the chemistry has to be right on a personal level. So if we recommend a heliskier you don't know to complete your group, you can be sure: We are convinced that you will fit together perfectly in a heliski group.

If you book a semi-private package with your group, in which one helicopter serves two groups, it is not always guaranteed that you will all be assigned to the same group. For safety reasons, the weight distribution in the helicopter also plays a role. But talk to us. We can clarify many questions in advance and discuss everything with the heliski lodges in advance. With TRAVELZONE, you can be sure that your heliski trip with your group will be just as you imagined it.

I have been organizing heliski trips worldwide since 1986 - with know-how and a genuine passion for skiing. TRAVELZONE combines the best of 35 years of heliskiing experience. That's why heliskiing with TRAVELZONE is different: safe, unique and unforgettable!
